So you have been on Twitter a while now and you are following so many people, that you can't remember who or what you have followed. Soon, very soon my friend, you will be able to organize both your followers and those you are following by lists.

For example, on Socialtivity's Twitter we might want to sort the profiles by different categories such as web development companies, Marketing companies, and so on.  Since we are now following almost 2000 people, finding the right information will be all the more easier.

Also as many Twitterers have noticed, in addition to the Followers stats, listed stats are also available to others. This is an idication of how many times a profile has been added to another list. 

I myself like this feature because it kind of allows users to organize other profiles in almost a category structure, like a bunch of Twitter directories.

Twitter List Uses

1. categorize by topic of profiles.
2. geograpic organize..ie those local to you, those in Europe etc..
3. lists of your competition.
4. Lists of your competitions followers
5. lists of those that could be your potential customers.
6. Organize research.
